The season 1 of Masamune Kun No Revenge was released during January 5, 2017 to March 23, 2017 and was adapted from the Manga of the same name. It consisted of 12 episodes so the season 2 which is not yet announced will also have 12 episodes. Though no news have been announced yet for the release of second season, we will discuss more about the season 2 in this post.
Masamune Kun No Revenge Storyline – Masamune Kun No Revenge Season 2 Story Plot
This anime is a story of Masamune Makabe’s revenge against his childhood crush who nicknamed him piggy and this made Masamune angry. Well the story starts when Masmune and his friend Aki Adagaki, a girl from a wealthy family became friends in a village. But when Masamune express his feelings towards his friend, she calls him Piggy and this makes Masamune not only angry but he takes an oath to take revenge against her. Slowly things start changing for 16 years old Masmume who has changed his sir name, with everyday exercise he gained fit body from his chubby appearance. Now he joins a school in the city and thinks about his revenge against Aki but he soon finds out that she is in his school itself.
But things are way worse because Aki Adagaki is known for turning crushes to ashes while tormenting their feelings without a scratch. Things look hard in the beginning from Masamune ends who then take help of Aki’s maid girl, Yoshino Koiwai. The maid girl being who was also tormented by Aki takes on Masamune’s side while he plans to win her heat, and at the end he would break it by taking his revenge on her for what she did during childhood.
Masamune Kun No Revenge Season 2 Release Date 2017
The last episode of Masamune Kun No Revenge season 1 was aired on March 23, 2017 and the ending was not what we have expected. The anime ended with a big suspense though things were good at the end between our MC’S, during the end of the season. If you are wondering will there be a season 2, then yes it has high chances. It is so because the season 1 ended with half of the Manga chapter being adapted, so we have enough material for second season as well.
So with the enough Manga material available we can expect that season 2 will be released during 2018 surely. Before the release of second season, this anime will be getting OVA released by end of 2017 or else during winter of 2018.

The season 1 of Masamune Kun No Revenge was really awesome though it had cliché ending which made so many fans down, but the Masamune Kun No Revenge season 2 is sure to fill all the gaps. The season 2 will be released during the year 2018, while we can expect some OVA to be released at least by the end of 2017.
